Danish Government launches PSI Data use competition
Auf der Seite European Public Sector Information (PSI) Platform wurde am 5. Oktober ein Wettbewerb ausgeschrieben: Competition opens 100,000 Danish Kroner. Dort heißt es:
The Danish Science Minister Helge Sander has launched a competition: Offentlige data i spil – initiativet (Government Data in games). The Ministry of Science – Danish National IT and Telecom Agency is facilitating the competition . The press release states: Helge Sander, is keen to see the submitted ideas:
The competition is one of the first initiatives under the heading of public data in the game that should make it easier to access using public data and we will use lessons learned to work with the area, says Helge Sander.
Important dates for the Competition
Phase 1 : An open public process
Phase 2 : A closed (not public process)
Phase 3 : Winner receiving a financial grant.
The Prize: The winners will be supported with an award (grant) to a maximum of 100,000 Danish Kroner to bring the idea to reality.
What is it all about?
It’s about that we want to demonstrate through real examples of how public data can be used for much more and much more numerous than they are today. We believe that Danish companies, organizations, students, entrepreneurs and ordinary creative people can create useful digital services and information-rich mash-ups, which we in the public sector do not have the imagination to imagine. Therefore, the science minister Helge Sander printed Ideas Competition government data in games where the best ideas for solutions rewarded with financial support for realization of ideas.
